The members of the Boston Society of Film Critics spent the majority of their Sunday voting for the winners of film awards for 2020. The group, which is made up of 26 film critics and journalists from the Boston area, came together to decide on which films they thought were the best 2020 had to offer. This is one of the first organizations to announce this year. The announcement comes a few weeks after the Gotham Nominations and the Sunset Circle Awards. The Boston Society of Film Critics was formed in 1981 and has become a major player when it comes to predicting the Oscars.
