The Hollywood Creative Alliance Reveals Their Latest Awards: The Astra Podcast Awards
Wednesday, June 25, 2025 – Los Angeles, CA – The Hollywood Creative Alliance announced today the expansion of its awards show lineup beyond film and television to celebrate excellence across other forms of media and entertainment, beginning with the Astra Podcast Awards on Monday, October 27, 2025.
The Astra Podcast Awards will feature 16 in-competition categories: Beauty, Books, Celebrity, Comedy, Fashion, Film, Game, Health & Wellness, Parenting, Pop Culture, Science, Scripted, Sports, Topical News, True Crime, and Television. Any podcast released between August 1, 2024, and August 30, 2025, is eligible and can be submitted for consideration.
There is a flat fee of $100 per podcast submission per category. Submissions for the Astra Podcast Awards are now open at AstraAwardsSubmissions.com and will close on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
A committee will select nominations for the Astra Podcast Awards. Voting will begin on September 3, 2025, and will close on September 12, 2025. The nominations will be revealed via a press release and on social media on September 17, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. PT. Final voting will take place from September 22, 2025, to September 28, 2025. Winners will be revealed at the ceremony on October 27, 2025.
In addition to the 16 in-competition awards, the ceremony will also include three honorary awards and a Podcast of the Year Award, the latter of which will be voted on by the entire HCA membership. All submitted podcasts will be eligible for the Podcast of the Year Award.
KNEKT.tv will serve as the distribution partner for the Astra Podcast Awards. The whole ceremony will stream live simultaneously on KNEKT.tv as well as on the official Astra Awards YouTube Channel and TikTok. KNEKT.tv will also serve as the official host of the Astra Podcast Awards Red Carpet Pre-Show and Winners’ Room.
