Sony Pictures has released the first picture of Daniel Craig back as James Bond in the upcoming film Spectre.
Not only was the picture released early Thursday morning, but a short behind-the-scenes video from the set of the film was released as well, which clocks in at a little under two minutes.
Watch it below:
Both the picture and video show off the snowy terrain that will be seen in one of the more “amazing” and “spectacular” action scenes in Spectre, according to Associate Producer Gregg Wilson.
The footage from the behind-the-scenes video is from the top of a mountain in Austria, and includes interviews with stars of the film Léa Seydoux and Dave Bautista. Seydoux will be playing the role of Madeleine Swann in Spectre, while Baustista will be playing Mr. Hinx. Daniel Craig can be seen at the end of the video in character as James Bond.
The rest of the cast includes Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser, Ralph Fiennes as M, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Ben Winshaw as Q, Noamie Harris as Moneypenny, Andrew Scott as Denbigh and Rory Kinnear as Tanner.
Spectre will be 24th entry in the Bond series, following 2012’s extremely successful Skyfall. Skyfall director Sam Mendes will be returning this time around to helm the film, while John Logan has penned the script.
Production Designer Dennis Gassner said, “The thing Sam and I talked about was how we are going to top Skyfall…so it’s gonna be Spectre.”
Gassner added, “I think that we are going to continue the history of Bond films, making things that are exciting for the audience to look at. And what could be more exciting than to be on top of the world?”
According to IMDb, in Spectre, “a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.”
Spectre will hit theaters on November 6, 2015.
