“Ralph Breaks the Internet” Blu-Ray Release Event at Willow Springs Raceway
Being in a racecar going 110 MPH is not something that I’d ever imagined myself doing, but I’ll be damned if it wasn’t the most fun I’ve had in a long time. To celebrate the release of Ralph Breaks the Internet on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital, a few members of the press were invited to spend a day at Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, CA. Once at the track, we were treated to a day of fun and excitement.
First, we had an introduction with the professional drivers who would be driving us around the track and showing us some tricks. Follow that, we had an introduction to the animation by Renato Dos Anjos, the head of animation. In this presentation, we learned a bit about the logistics and ins and outs of them trying to get the game Slaughter Race in Ralph Breaks the Internet to feel real and authentic, which is how we ended up at a raceway.
The day was full of fantastic events including racing around the raceway at 110 MPH with a professional driver, to learning how the stunt drivers perform their stunts in films and television shows while riding in the car while they do them. Interviews with stunt driver, Jeremy Fry and head of animation, Renato Dos Anjos top off an incredible experience. Check out a video of my day at the raceway.
And don’t forget to check out Ralph Breaks the Internet on Blu-Ray, Digital, and DVD. #RalphBreakstheInternet
