DreamWorks Animation moderated by Craig Ferguson:
- A trailer and clips from Home starring Rhianna and Jim Parsons. Jim Parsons and Tim Johnson was on hand for a few questions from the audience.
- A wardrobe piece was presented from the upcoming movie Boo.
- A trailer, some clips and the first six minutes of Penguins of Madagascar. Panel with Benedict Cumerbatch and John Malkovich.
The Giver:
- A new trailer and panel with Lois Lowry, Jeff Bridges, Brenton Thwaites, and Odeya Rush
Paramount:
- Clips from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with visits by Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Kevin Eastman, one of the original animators of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book.
- SpongeBob movie with a visit from Tom Kenny, the voice of Spongebob with the trailer.
- Project Almanac trailer.
- Surprise visit by Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) announcing that he bought out theaters for free screenings for Hercules for fans in San Diego.
- Surprise visit from Clark Duke with a brand new trailer for Hot Tub Time Machine 2
- Surprise visit from Matthew McConaughey and Christopher Nolan discussing Interstellar with a brand new trailer that won’t be released to the public for weeks to come.
Overall, the most entertaining panels came from DreamWorks Animation but the amount of surprises from Paramount is really what made the day exciting.
