Universal / Illumination for their 5th animated feature-film the studio released 9 new posters for The Secret Life of Pets, a comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day.
Comedy superstars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart make their animated feature-film debuts in The Secret Life of Pets, which co-stars Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Jenny Slate, Bobby Moynihan, Hannibal Buress and Albert Brooks. Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy produce the film directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2), co-directed by Yarrow Cheney and written by Brian Lynch and Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio.
These posters are genius, cashing in on the pet shaming photos that are flooding Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. This film looks like it is going to be a great deal of fun for the whole family.
Shawn Kavanaugh voices the cute Sweetpea.
Snowball is voiced by Kevin Hart. This is sure to be a treat. This is sure to be a change from his last film, Ride Along 2.
Dana Carvey plays Pops, the old timer of the gang.
Bobby Moynihan is the voice of Mel. He was recently the voice of Forgetter Bobby in Disney’s Inside Out.
The hilarious Louis C.K. is the voice of Max. He lent his voice in the early 90s to the program Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist.
Gidget is voiced by the amazingly funny Jenny Slate.
Eric Stonestreet voices Duke. You may know Eric from his role as Cam in Modern Family.
Chloe the cat is voiced by Lake Bell, who is an incredibly talented indie actress.
Hannibal Buress lends his voice for Buddy, the dachshund. Hannibal is currently on the popular show Broad City.
