The Season Review: *THIS DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS!*
Supernatural Season 11 was one for the books. It featured epic battles between good and evil, God and the Darkness, and of course the Winchester brothers against every evil thing on the planet. This season began with Sam and Dean dealing with the evil that they have unleashed upon the world, The Darkness. While searching for the Darkness, the boys come across a baby who they think is tied to the Darkness because it has the Mark of Cain. Probably one of the most entertaining episodes of the season is the episode which is told from the point of view of the Impala. It doesn’t do much to further the storyline but is a great tribute for fans of the show. The search continues for the baby and they find it to be Amara, The Darkness herself. She is growing at a rapid rate and is kept by none other than Crowley, the King of Hell. He attempts to hold her and once he realizes how powerful she is, he lets her go. Another extremely entertaining episode features Sam’s imaginary friend, played by Nate Torrence. It was hilarious and goofy and one of my favorite episodes of the show by far! With Sam locked in the cage, Lucifer offers Sam a way out of the cage with a steep price. In one episode, the boys are looking to find a weapon to kill Amara for good. This idea has Dean convincing Castiel to send him back in time to WWII. The season was particularly brutal on Sam. He is shot not once but twice. Once in the werewolf fight and once to close out the season. This season we have the stunning revelation that Chuck is God and that Amara is actually his sister. In a change of heart, Amara and her brother agree to bury the hatchet and leave Earth to the boys to fix. Season 11 has been epic, take a look forward at what is going to happen in Season 12 in our article here.
