The Brady Bunch House, Rebuilt! Down to the Broken Vase

Kevin Taft provides a write-up regarding his visit to the most iconic TV sitcom home in history, The Brady Bunch house.

The most iconic TV home in history is back – recreated inside the instantly recognizable house that started it all.

A few years ago, several cast members from The Brady Bunch teamed up for A Very Brady Renovation and did something kind of brilliant: they rebuilt the interiors of the real house to match the soundstages we all remember. Not “inspired by.” Not “close enough.” Exact.

And now, for a limited time, you can walk through it as if you live there.
(Well… for about an hour. But still. It counts.)

What You Actually Get

Even though some structural tweaks were needed, every room you remember is there:

  • the living room (yes, that staircase moment)
  • the kitchen
  • all the bedrooms
  • Greg’s attic escape
  • Mike’s office
  • Alice’s room
  • the den
  • Mike and Carol’s bedroom
  • the kids’ bathroom
  • and the backyard

And it’s all recreated with almost obsessive attention to detail—right down to props you’ll recognize instantly.

The Fun Part: The Deep Cuts:

As you wander through, it turns into a bit of a scavenger hunt:

  • The vase Peter broke
  • The cursed tiki idol from Hawaii
  • the Kitty Karry-All doll
  • Cindy’s missing locket
  • a spooky Halloween callback
  • the Brady dunk tank

There are little surprises tucked everywhere. You might even stumble across a curly wig from the Brady perm era—because truly, why did all the Brady men suddenly have the same hair?

Look closely, and you’ll spot letters to Dear Libby, Marcia’s note from Davy Jones, and yes—there’s a The Monkees album hiding in the den.

And of course… Tiger. Or rather, the idea of Tiger. Because, as fans know, the family more or less forgot he existed after Season 2. (The real story: the original dog died, the replacement didn’t quite work out, and the show quietly moved on. Justice for Tiger.)

The Overall Vibe

This isn’t just a walkthrough. It’s clearly a labor of love. Every corner feels considered, and if you grew up with the show, it hits that very specific nostalgia button almost immediately.

The Details

  • One-hour semi-private, self-guided visit: $289.75 per person (including fees)
  • Launches: May 11, 2026 (very limited run)
  • Location: North Hollywood, CA
  • Ages: 14+
  • Note: Timeslots are extremely limited

A portion of each ticket benefits Wags & Walks Dog Rescue, which feels like a nice full-circle moment considering Tiger’s fate.

It’s not cheap, but if you’ve ever wanted to step inside your childhood TV screen, this is about as close as it gets.

Kevin is a long-time movie buff with a wide variety of tastes and fixations in the film world. He cried the moment Benji appeared onscreen in “Benji,” and it took him about four times to finally watch “The Exorcist” (at age 24) without passing out. “Star Wars: A New Hope” was the movie that changed everything and when his obsession with films and filmmaking began. A screenwriter himself (one long-ago horror script sale to New Line remains on a shelf), his first film "Two Tickets to Paradise" that he co-wrote premiered in June 2022 on Hallmark. He is currently working on another for the iconic brand.
