Chris Aronson, Paramount Pictures President, Domestic Distribution, briefly opened up before letting a stunt show with electric bike riders and a few mini ramp jumps pump up the crowd to the Mission Impossible theme song.
After a montage of Paramount Pictures films, Brian Robbins, CEO of Paramount Pictures, next came out to make a joke about the previous Sony announcement of four Beatles films earlier in the week and their response that they would release four Paw Patrol movies with a mock poster on the screen. Although there wasn’t footage, he discussed films in their pipeline for 2026: Children of Blood and Bone, Heart of the Beast, An Untitled Trey Parker Matt Stone Kendrick Lamar Movie for next March, and sequels Sonic 4 and Scream 7.
Director Edgar Wright came on stage next for The Running Man, which is slated for release in November. Shortly after, he was joined by his star of the film, Glen Powell, and later Coleman Domingo and Josh Brolin, who also co-stars. They dropped a thrilling trailer in the directing style very much of Wright and entirely different than the film of the 80s starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Ramsey Naito, Paramount Animation President, announced Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie and the official title for The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, and a new Smurfs movie directed by Chris Miller. Rihanna, who will be voicing Smurfette’s prerecorded message, introduced the trailer, and visually, this version had a different look than the previous animated releases along with new characters like Papa Smurf’s brother; the film drops July 18th.
The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants, slated for December 19th, appropriately had the voice of SpongeBob himself, Tom Kenny, comes out to announce the trailer along with Mark Hamill, who also joins the voiceover cast.
Chris Aronson returned to the stage and had an underwhelming bit with a saxophone player, which opened to a poster for The Naked Gun. The saving grace was a truly hilarious trailer for the Liam Neeson starring remake on August 1st.

Roofman, releasing on October 3rd and currently in post-production, brought out Channing Tatum. Based on a true story, the tone of the trailer played very much like the 2001 film Blow.
Author Colleen Hoover, riding on a hot streak with the studios, has yet another adaptation with Regretting You, and a prerecorded message was delivered on set from the cast.
Finally, if you bring out the big guns and your biggest title, you bring out the biggest and possibly last true movie star, Tom Cruise. Cruise came out not only to deliver the trailer but also to say a few kind words with a moment of silence for Val Kilmer. He also presented the CinemaCon Director of the Year award to Christopher McQuarrie. It was a ten-minute speech with note cards versus the teleprompter, which seemed on par with how Cruise likes to be in control.
The Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning trailer saw Ethan Hunt in handcuffs with intermixed scenes from past films in the franchise to tell his story and an aircraft carrier at his disposal to show you the magnitude of this last final chapter in the saga. The film will dazzle audiences on May 23rd.
