The trailer gives us a glimpse at some of the action we can expect to see when Mockingjay Part 2 hits theaters this year on November 20.
In the film, Katniss leads a rebellion against President Snow, the tyrannical leader of Panem, and hopes to bring down the Capitol.
Mockingjay Part 1 was released last year, receiving relatively positive reviews from fans and critics, despite it being perhaps the least action-packed film of the franchise so far. At the worldwide box office, it didn’t make quite as much as 2013’s Catching Fire, but still managed to beat the numbers of 2012’s The Hunger Games, grossing over $750 million.
Francis Lawrence, director of Catching Fire and Mockingjay Part 1, has helmed this newest installment in the series as well, while screenwriter Danny Strong has written the script.
