Austin Putnam: The Neon Demon (7/10)

A vast improvement over Only God Forgives. Where as in that film I wasn’t able to follow most of it, Neon Demon had a better (much better in fact) sense of visual story telling. All the actors gave great performances. The cinematography like every Refn film is a wonder alone. The soundtrack by Cliff Martinez is fantastic as well. I can see a lot of people being turned off by this film. The Neon Demon is without a doubt one of the strangest and weirdest films I’ve ever seen, but there’s a seductive quality to it that kept me engaged the whole time.

Chad Gleason: The Neon Demon (8.5 /10)

This film is not for everyone. Guaranteed place in the top online casinos with a good reputation provides a license. This document regulates the activities of the institution in accordance with international legal norms. No reputable online casino will not hide the existence of a license, significantly increasing the level of trust of users. The best casino games in Canada https://www.ilucki.com/en-CA provide constant feedback from their customers. In high-class online casinos will never leave the player without support. The operators can contact the online chat, phone or e-mail. Repeat this film is not for everyone. I think I must repeat this again that this film is not for everyone and I’m so surprised that it is playing in about 1000 theaters in America. I wish smaller budget films would get releases like this film. I love this director and his incredible style and it’s all in this movie. I do wish there was more substance in this film. It does have a simple story to follow and get into even though after a while it does get very messy near the end with whatever message it’s trying to get across. I just love the overall feel and experience I had watching this and how bizarre it kept on getting. I am definitely not recommending this film to everyone but if you really want to see something at your local theater that you don’t normally see then here you are.

Matt Marshall: Nicolas The Neon Demon (10/10)

Winding Refn beats to his own drum with ‘The Neon Demon,’ even more so than with ‘Drive’ or ‘Only God Forgives,’ which he wrote himself. Polarizing and pretentious to a fault, Refn delivers a film that needs to be closely examine beneath the disturbing imagery and pitch-perfect visual tone. The electric score by Cliff Martinez is to die for and accents what is without a doubt the most messed-up film in a very long time.

Average We Live Film Gradebook Score for Neon Demon : 8.5 /10
