New Captain America: Civil War Poster and Teaser Trailer
Marvel fans who weren’t lucky enough to attend Disney’s D23 Expo have been waiting for months for the first Captain America: Civil War trailer, but now, thanks to Jimmy Kimmel, it has finally arrived. While Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. were making an appearance on ABC’s late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live, they unveiled several official posters as well as the teaser trailer.

The footage not only teases an epic battle between Iron Man (Downey Jr.) and Captain America (Evans), but it also shows us glimpses of some of our favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes, including Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).
Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther, who is being introduced into the MCU in the film, pops up briefly in the trailer, giving fans a taste of what they can expect from the new hero. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is also expected to make his first appearance in Civil War, but he was completely absent from the trailer.
The footage shown at D23 a few months ago was reportedly a bit longer than the recently released trailer, featuring an appearance from Ant-Man and a few more lines from other characters in the film.
