The sequel to the 1994 comedy hit Dumb And Dumber is set to start shooting in September. Jim Carry and Jeff Daniels are returning for the film, in their roles as Harry and Lloyd. The Farrelly brothers are returning to direct the sequel, and it is the first sequel they have ever done. I for one think it will be a successful film even though it’s been eighteen years since the release of the first film — along with the fact that their is new writers penning the script.
Sean Anders and John Morris are the duo behind writing the script, although they are not the writers from the first film. But they have written a number of good films. These films being: Hot Tub Time Machine, Sex Drive, and Mr. Popper’s Penguins. I don’t see why the Farrelly brothers and Bennnett Yellin didn’t write the script for the sequel, but I think Anders and Morris will do a good job.
