Paramount and the producers of Paranormal Activity are making a Catholic-based paranormal film with a Latino cast. Though the film is based on Catholic myths and has a Latino cast, the film will not be in Spanish. They are planning to make the film in the next several months.
This new project of horror will reunite producers Jason Blum, Oren Peli, and Christopher Landon; Landon is signed to write and direct the film. Sources say that this film will not be a sequel, but is more like a “cousin” to Paranormal Activity. Paramount could have the film ready and in theaters for a slot in January, 2013.
