News – Schwarzenegger Making a Comeback

By Hannah Everman

Universal Pictures is planning a sequel to the 1988 comedy, Twins, which will be starring the original duo of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito, and an unlikely third brother, Eddie Murphy. Murphy starred in Tower Heist last year, and just played the lead in A Thousand Words. DeVito has also not been at a loss for roles, as he voiced the title character in the hit animated film, The Lorax, and is a regular favorite on the hit television series, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Twins is not the only thing lined up for Schwarzenegger, as he was right when he said in his 1984 sci-fi flick, The Terminator, “I’ll be back.” He is also starring in The Expendables 2, which is due to release in August of this year. Further down the road, Schwarzenegger will be starring in the new action film The Last Stand, where he plays Sheriff Owens, a man who retreats to a small town where crime is almost non-existent to escape his past at the LAPD. However, he will be put to the test when a high security fugitive is on the loose and headed straight for his sleepy town. This action film is due to release in 2013. Finally, he will also be co-starring with Sylvester Stallone in The Tomb, which follows the life of Ray Breslin (Stallone), who is the world’s best authority on structural security. But, all his ingenuity is about to be put to the test when he has to escape from his own prison. A release date has yet to be determined for this film.
