Lawless, which was formerly known as The Wettest County, is a film set in the era of the Depression where a family in Virginia are moonshiners. The film is starring Shia Lebeouf, who is known mainly for his roles in the Transformers saga and Disturbia. Co-starring with Shia is Tom Hardy, who is known for his role in the critically acclaimed film Warrior. Starring in the film with Lebouf and Hardy is newcomer Jason Clarke, who is playing the third brother along the two others’ characters.
Directing the film is John Hillcoat, the man that brought us The Road and The Proposition, and the screenwriter behind the film is Nick Cave, who has written films like The Proposition and Ghosts… Of The Civil Dead. There are many producers behind this film; some of the films that they have worked on include Insidious, Paranormal Activity, Tooth Fairy, New York I Love You , Margin Call, and so many other popular films. With a cast and crew like this, I for one think that this is going to be a good movie.
