Day Three of SXSW 2012 is now officially over, but it was packed with a large array of events that took place and We Live Film contributors tried their hardest to cover all the biggest events.
8:45am – Matt, Scott, Laurie and Riley all arrive at the Austin Convention Center and stand in line for their express passes for the day.
9:30am – Everyone visits the Radisson to get some free breakfast and chit chat for a bit.
10:30am – Scott, Laurie, and Riley head to the Austin Hilton to cover “The Cabin in the Woods” roundtable interviews with Joss Whedon, Drew Goddard, Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Jesse Williams, Kristen Connolly, and Anna Hutchison.
11:00am – Matt goes to listen to “A Conversation with Seth MacFarlane” and gets an exclusive 8 minute sneak peak at the film “Ted,” with Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg .
12:45pm – Riley, Laurie, and Scott head over to the “W” hotel to interview Jake Johnson, Mark Duplass, Audrey Plaza, Colin Trevorrow, Derek Connolly for the Safety Not Guaranteed roundtable.
12:30pm – Matt gets some acting lessons from Jeffrey Tambor during his acting workshop.
1:45pm – Scott does a video interview with Bobcat Goldwaith for We Live Film and for his upcoming documentary.
2:00pm – Riley and Laurie go to get an “Extracted” interview.
3:30pm – Matt learns a little bit about screenwriting at “Welcome to the Pitching Palace” panel.
3:30pm – Scott sits down with Gabriel Union and Brian Savelson to do a video interview for their new film “In Our Nature”
4:30pm – Laurie and Riley go to see the high school musical “Hunky Dory”
5:00pm -Matt and Scott sit down and learn about “The R’s of Horror: Remake, Reboot, and Rediscoveries” panel.
6:30pm – Scott and Matt go see one of the first feature length films by the Duplass brothers called “The Do-Deca Pentathlon” at the Ritz on 6th.
7:35pm – Mark & Jay Duplass take the stage to do a Q&A with the cast of “The Do-Deca Pentathlon”
9:30pm – “Somebody Up There Loves Me” gets a surprise introduction by Nick Offerman before the film screens.
11:15pm – One of the oddest Q&A’s ever at the festival, but Scott did get to hang out with Nick Offerman and Audrey Plaza, who gave him a high five when she saw him.
11:45pm – Back to the hotel.
