The Good Place: “Chapter 9: Someone Like Me As a Member”

Continuing on the realization that there is a “real” Eleanor who should be in the Good Place, Michael is working tireless to appease and negotiate with Trevor and others from the Bad Place so that they can keep the “fake” Eleanor too. Meanwhile, Eleanor is questioning herself and her right to be in the Good Place as accented by many memories of her being excluded from things. Chidi and the real Eleanor are hitting it off and getting more and more acquainted. This assures the fake Eleanor that she doesn’t belong in the Good Place.

Michael has decided to try to appease his guests from the Bad Place by having a meeting/ party over at Tahani’s house. All they do is end up trashing the place and being total jerks to everyone. Tahani convinces Michael that he needs to stand up for himself. When he does, Trevor threatens to go to Shawn and instant panic goes across Michael’s face. I have a feeling we will get a glimpse at Shawn in the coming episodes.

Adam Scott as Trevor is perfect casting. He has the cynicism and blatant rudeness that is needed for the character. If you like him in this character, you should check him out in the film My Blind Brother. The show continues to keep the characters and storyline interesting. I can’t wait for the next episode of The Good Place.
