Horror Thursdays: “The Hole” (2001) Review by Mark Krawczyk

February is Women in Horror Recognition Month and it is also the time of the Oscars. I decided to combine to two and looked for any horror films the nominees for best supporting actress may have been in. I found nearly all of them were in some kind of horror film during their careers. So for this month I will bring you reviews of those movies.

Today we take a look at a psychological horror film called “The Hole” from 2001 starring Thora Birch and Keira Knightley. Before she was swashing buckles in “The Pirates of the Caribbean” or playing “The Imitation Game”, Keira Knightley was trapped in “The Hole”.

Movie: “The Hole” (2001)

Plot: Four teenagers looking to hide out and party for a weekend find themselves locked in an underground bunker with no way out.
