Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown is based on the novel Rum Punch by Elmore Lenard. A prequel is in the works, which is based on Elmore Lenard’s novel The Switch. The two main characters from Jackie Brown are back Louis Gora and Ordeal Robbie, but this time they are planing to kidnap a crooked real estate developers wife.
A director is signed to the film but its not director Quentin Tarantino but new comer Dan Schechter. Actors like John Hawkes (Eastbound And Down ) and Mos Def (The Italian Job, 16 Blocks) are already signed to the film, in the talks is actress Jennifer Aniston (Office Space, Horrible Bosses) and actor Dennis Quaid ( The Day After Tomorrow) . The film is due to start production in May.
