Verdict: Non-Stop thrills, Non-Stop enjoyment.
Non-Stop stars Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore and it follows the story of an Air Marshall who attends a flight, whilst on the flight he must save 150 passengers due to receiving text messages from a hijacker who threatens to kill a person on the plane every twenty minutes…
The dialogue and realistic dynamic between the characters creates for a fantastic interact between the film and audience. Characters are well progressed and functioned throughout the film, and they are developed to perfection. The character of Bill, played by Liam Neeson, doesn’t really say anything for the first 5-10 minutes, but, we still got key points about what kind of man this character is. Most of the scenes in this film keep you guessing… Therefore, this action-thriller reaches high criteria. This is the first time in such a long time that I’ve hoped that the hero doesn’t die!
Liam Neeson is obviously very suspenseful as this very mysterious air marshal. Julianne Moore and the rest of the supporting cast (including Oscar nominated Lupita Nyongo) create a very intense environment. This is definitely Liam Neeson’s best performance, or even film since Taken… Yes… This is better than The Grey…
The cinematography and visual style is fantastic. it truly amazes me how they got all these cameras to fit in such a small airplane. The green screen used in this film is un-noticeable, which also adds to the intense environment.
Non-Stop is flawless, therefore makes it one of my favourite movies of the year so far. Non-Stop needs to be seen in cinemas so you can experience the intense environment the director, performers and screenwriters have created. Buckle up your seats, because your in for a lot of turbulence… In the best way possible.
Please note: Not for nervous flyers.
