A new trailer has been released online for 20th Century Fox’s Fantastic Four.
Watch it here:
Josh Trank, who also helmed 2012’s Chronicle, has directed the film, which stars Miles Teller as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm/The Thing and Toby Kebbell as Victor Domashev.
The trailer seems to have a much lighter tone than the first one, at least for the first half of it. We even get to see interaction and banter between the Fantastic Four, something that no previous footage has given us a glimpse of.
Each of the four’s specific powers are briefly shown off in the trailer as well, from Sue Storm’s invisibility to Reed Richard’s flexibility.
A shot of Doctor Doom, who was absent from the previous trailer, can also be seen.
The film’s official plot is described as follows:
Four young scientists achieve superhuman abilities through a teleportation experiment gone haywire. They must now use these abilities to save the world from an uprising tyrant.
Fantastic Four will be released on August 7, 2015.
