This Is Us “The Best Washing Machine in the Whole World”
Finally, This Is Us is back and with a great emotionally charged episode. Jack and Rebecca are struggling through having a busy life, three kids, and working. We get a look into the relationship dynamic between Randall and Kevin. As kids, they struggled to get along on almost every front. They played against each other in football, and Kevin was always jealous of Randall and the attention he received from Rebecca. Things come to a head when they have dinner together alone for the first time.
While Kevin and Randall are out to dinner, Beth and William get a chance to talk and learn more about each other until William reveals a big secret. Beth is now put in a really difficult position and doesn’t know what she should do next.
Toby and Kate are at their weight loss meeting when Kate becomes discouraged when she doesn’t lose nearly as much as she had hoped. Meanwhile, Toby has hit his stride in weight loss. Something happens that then turns their relationship on its head and puts Kate is a very dangerous personal position. It is a struggle that is so common and relatable that you have to love and appreciate the honesty in the show.
This week’s episode was great, but not as amazing as the previous episodes. I think that this next week will be a big episode with a lot of reveals and drama. I can’t wait to see it!
