Doctor Strange Trailer Released
Finally getting a trailer for Doctor Strange starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. This star-studded new film from Marvel uses this trailer to hint at the what seem to be fantastic visuals it has in store for us. The film is set to release on November 4th, 2016 in both 3D and IMAX 3D.
The plot according to IMDB is: After his career is destroyed, a brilliant but arrogant and conceited surgeon gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer takes him under his wing and trains him to defend the world against evil.
The cast is incredible for this film. We have Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, and Chiwetel Ejiofor to name a few. This will be really interesting and different role for Benedict. I am interested to hear an entire movie done in an American accent. Tilda Swinton is almost unrecognizable as a bald woman.
The film is the 14th film of the Marvel Universe and will be directed by Scott Derrickson. Derrickson, known for directing The Exorcism of Emily Rose. The screenplay was written by John Spaihts and C. Robert Cargill, known for Prometheus, The Darkest Hour, and Sinister.
As for the actual costume, the trailer leaves you in suspense, giving only the above image of Benedict in costume. I can’t wait to see it!
According to this trailer, the film promises to be a great visual treat with the acting to match. A couple of the scenes seem reminiscent of a few scenes from the film Inception, still visually stunning.
What do you think of the trailer? Do you think it will be great? Do you agree with the casting? How do you think Benedict will do as Doctor Strange? Comment below!
