Grimm Season 6, Episode 1 “Fugitive” Review
Grimm will premiere with its sixth and final season January 6th. We luckily have gotten a chance to check out the first episode. This review may contain spoilers.
The episode begins where the Season 5 Finale left off; the group is stuck at Nick’s loft, and we have no idea what is going to happen to our favorite characters. Way to leave us on edge for MONTHS, NBC! Sean and Nick make it out alive and part ways, leaving Renard with a vengeance. With that vengeance, he hunts down Nick with the entire force of Portland PD behind him.If it was ever a question, we are now 100% sure that Renard is some crazy insane mother fudger. He is on a war path and is downright frightening in this episode Wu, Hank, Monroe, Rosalee, Eve and Trubel are working to help Nick, while Adalind is stuck in the house with Kelly and Diana, not knowing what is happening and feeling helpless to stop it.
The episode is exciting and thrilling as we are anxiously cheering for Nick and his escape from Renard and Portland. Black Claw is now aware that they have lost Bonaparte, but we don’t know what that means for the organization and Nick and the rest of the group. Eve, still not yet herself after her miraculous recovery, she is experiencing trouble using her magic and even has some pretty wild experiences that I’m sure will unfold with great care in the next few episodes.
Watching this episode, I was so sad realizing that this is it. This is the last season. The show has been a staple in my life for so long, I am surely sad to see it go, but if this episode is any indication of what is to come, the creators will make it an amazing last season for the fans of Grimm.
