New Trailer and Poster for “The BFG”
Fresh off the film premiere at Cannes 2016, Disney has released the trailer and a brand new poster for the upcoming release of The BFG. The film has received great reviews and is a highly anticipated summer release. The film is directed by Stephen Spielberg and stars Rebecca Hall, Bill Hader, Ruby Barnhill, Mark Rylance, and Jermaine Clement. Ruby Barnhill, who will play Sophie, the main character, is a relative newcomer. She is credited with only The BFG and The 4 O’Clock Club. The original story, written by Roald Dahl is a well-loved children’s book. The original story is about Sophie, a little orphaned English girl who is taken away by the BFG to Giant Land.
The BFG Soundtrack is scored by the famous John Williams.
The film is set to release on what would be the 100th birthday for Roald Dahl. From the trailer, it looks like we are in for quite a visual treat!
